The ALVRIQ Core Barrel with Crossing Cutters is engineered for high-quality sample recovery in fractured and mixed formations. Its dual-wall construction features an inner sample tube that isolates the core from drilling fluid, preserving the integrity of the sample for accurate geotechnical laboratory analysis.
The outer barrel houses the carbide cutting teeth and bears the drilling torque, while the inner tube — made from wear-resistant steel — remains stationary during rotation. This design prevents sample erosion and contamination, delivering recovery rates exceeding 90% in formations where standard barrels achieve less than 50%.
A universal kelly box connection (interchangeable with SANY, Zoomlion, XCMG, and BAUER rotary drilling rigs) ensures broad compatibility. The inner tube is removable for quick sample extraction, reducing downtime between coring cycles.
